Minimalist Art to Decorate Your Home

I’m so glad you stopped by today to check out this post. Minimalist art has really grown on me lately, and I wanted to showcase a few of my designs in hopes to inspire you with your decor! The reason I’m fascinated by minimalist art is because just a tiny, abstract design can really speak to a person! And I really do believe that sometimes less is in fact, more.
What I love most about creating art is that no one can really tell you what’s right and wrong; there are no rules when it comes to your creative projects. That same thing goes for what you decorate your space with! If something speaks to you, nobody has to “get” it or understand, it’s totally all about what inspires you as a creator, or as a decorator!
With that being said, here’s a little decorating inspiration from the Etsy shop. Enjoy!
Beige and orange seems like a really popular color combination in art. It matches most decor styles and can always be viewed as modern! I love the look of minimalist, small shapes in a beige color scheme- it can add the perfect pop of color to any space. With this piece I wanted to create something unique, but not too crazy.
This one I call ketchup and mustard! Not really, but this is one of those art prints where I really feel that “less is more.” I knew I wanted to create something with just two bright pops of color without going overboard. The color scheme and design reminds me of a retro styled minimalist print.
A blue and lavender minimalist print! This is a super simple piece that can really add a major pop of color to any space. My intention with this was to have a primary color and a pastel color to make a unique combination (or that was my hopes anyway) that you could really hang anywhere- even if you do actually have a green couch!
Minimalist shapes in earth tones! This is a print that you can really hang anywhere with any kind of decor. It could be displayed in a cute little frame on an end table, or it could be blown up into a huge canvas.
Another orange art print! The orange and black, half circle design can be both a retro and modern style for any space in a home or office. I think this piece would look best as a large piece of decor instead of displayed in a small frame, but to each their own!
This art print can really be displayed anywhere because of the soft color scheme. It has beige and blush pink shapes, with a tiny pop of orange at the top. It’s an example that sometimes an interesting piece doesn’t have to be showy or flashy.
This purple, pink, and blue design is simple, yet vibrant. It can add a laid back vibe with its color scheme and shape. It can be added to any room to create a unique talking piece!

Sometimes the best thing about minimalism, is the chance it gives your mind to relax. Sometimes living in a simple space, or looking at something simple, can be calming and good for your mind and stress level. The less clutter, the better! (I definitely have to work on the less clutter in a space part!) These designs can be a good inspiration that less is more, and we can create a simple, yet beautiful space around us 🙂
